Abstract
The extractive activities in Ciudad Bolivar began prior to urbanization itself, starting from a number of mining areas whith plenty of stone materials for the construction of the city, the truth is that they are currently affecting the lifes of people living around, polluting rivers , causing loss of biological diversity and fauna of the savannah, causing fragmented ecosystems and changes on the ground. Having in mind all these problems but adding demographic and territorial causes, the project uses the housing unit as a generator for a urban model, linked to the edge of the town and placed in an ecological and morphological area affected by mining. The project takes some characteristics of the fractal geometry and landscapes as a tool to achieve the blurring of boundaries and to link to the territory searching for a sustainable construction, which allows to think about the relationship between the housing and the public space, but also the environmental impact and how everything becomes a tool that enhances the social life in the neighborhoods, the territory and the city. It favors, while developing, the recovery of the ecological structure and links the area with the urban fabric of the city, through the productive housing, architecture and public space.
