Abstract
Initially, the idea of this work was to become a photo gallery, told through profiles, hybrid culture that Villa de Leyva had to show. However, the research method and inputs that built this project redesigned the product. The book and the talks: Villa de Leyva, What others is in us, is the sum of the initial objectives with the goals were drawing down the road. I can not investigate Villa de Leyva as it did inside me. This product is the result of a series of unsuccessful methods and useless questions that I did during 10 years. Why are so many foreigners migrating here?, What's Villa de Leyva not have anywhere else in the world ?, What multiculturalism is? All these questions were silenced when I walked for each corner of the village. In the book, you will find photographs, experiences, audios and stories. It delve into the world of each of the characters that make up the final text, it prompted me to write in a genre forgotten on the shelves that separate the useless and the necessary. It is narrative journalism. I took the audacity to modify it a bit and I baptized delirious narrative journalism. All the stories are so real that the great delirious is an approach to detail the experiences of foreign and native people. If after reading it you still have any doubts about your credibility, you can see them together listening to each other in the talks: Villa de Leyva, What others is in us. The title of the book, represents a journey within the town that people have within them. It is a creative way of representing reality through the stories of subjects completely unrelated to each other. I could promise you that you will find something in the book, but it would be too ambitious. It might surprise you with multiculturalism translated into the interconnectedness of the stories, but you may find it pretentious. You could take my hand to walking the halls of the market, but it could confuse your senses. So I just dedicate myself to tell you how was that I found pieces of me, hidden beneath the stones of Villa de Leyva and within the gracious memory of men and women who, with the story of their lives, they began to arm myself and give meaning all this research.
