Abstract
Currently young tattoo apprentices go to two methods of practice, the first is using fruits, foami, pigskin and / or fake skin, and the second is to tattoo their own skin when they can not find a person that allows them to practice. The first method helps approach the operation of the tattoo machine, but surfaces are not a good way to practice if you want to get to feel a structure similar to the human body, since most surfaces are flat. The second method is clearly how to make a real tattoo (human skin), but when doing it in his own skin and without experience the results are unfavorable, and this is reflected in scars, inconsistent lines and filling with lack of solidity; In addition, the apprentices do not know which are the ideal exercises for their evolution, for which they are very disoriented.
This project includes the development of a product which allows to simulate parts of human morphology in order to offer a surface similar to that of a real tattoo, accompanied by an artificial skin with three different tones, which allows the apprentice to perform exercises with an increase in the difficulty by means of templates and at the same time the comparison of their results with guides established by the same. Different tests were carried out such as usability, manifested thinking and interviews with the specific users about the image and product concept. These tests allowed for validations that led to the improvement and definition of the product.
