comunidad.
Abstract
For the first time for the mountain rivers, concepts of hydraulic, quality, biological and functional
variables were combined with the use of data collected in the field for the development of the
identity of the macroinvertebrate community and the factors that determine it. Linear and nonlinear
analyzes were performed to find associations between the variables. 37 decision tree models
will be developed in more than 452 rules of distribution of 27 taxa, diversity of the community and
percentage of the categories of 5 functional groups. The spatial and temporal heterogeneity of the
availability of habitats for the macroinvertebrate community at the meso and micro scales is
confirmed. According to the linear and non-linear analyzes, the importance of diversity, the richness of the microhabitats, the rugosity of the substrate, the speed of the media, the width of the canal,
the diversity of the community, the presence and the abundance of predatory organisms, scrapers
and fragmenters, for maintenance. of the structure and function of the community. The rules of
decision trees allowed us to demonstrate the form of the identity of the community of
macroinvertebrates, we must take into account the variables of environmental type and also the
variables that contain the biological interactions, and that the two types of variables have
relationships Causes of abundance, diversity and functional features of the community.
