Abstract
This work is a reflection on the problem of violence in a series of concepts developed by René Girard. The work of this author, revolves around discovering the Mimetic elements of the human being and how from these, it is possible to explain the emergence of desire and violence. The author, through his studies of archaic civilizations to the present day, describes a notion of the mimetic process involving a new conception of desire describing it as a triangular mechanism. This analysis is reported from the myths. In Girard clear these Mimetic structures and with them the desire and violence and whose conclusion is the use of violence, from a scapegoat as a effective method to put an end to the violence.
