"The Project is located in Duitama Settlement. First, we have an urban idea based on a urban networking system, that is an adaptable model. After the model gets implanted, the red network generates a sort of poly-functional urban cells, aprox. To 1km ; 1km. The cell that is selected is located on the urban center. It have a very important natural system, The ""La Milagrosa"" hill. Also it have a railroad, the area that is available for new uses. All though the cells advantages, it have weaknesses. There are some subnormal zones. All though the free space, it does not count with public spaces, and is one of the poorest and damaged areas in the settlement. The main idea of the project is that the pedestrian is the protagonist, the roads are modified, and there are new supplying ways. The cell must be self-sufficient, and that the citizens found the basic services in it. This includes a hybrid building, an activity space and random spaces. The building design is prepare to have all the planned and non-planned activities. This is why the building modules are non-function, when the spaces are flexible, adaptable and multi-activities. The building gives a housing solution looking further the settlements needs. These over headed modules generate green spaces inside the building, giving it dynamism and generating a adaptable and replicable."
