Abstrait
This paper grade is an editorial product, specifically a book. This reflects my experience in African descent s hairdressing saloons, through written and photographic chronicles. The main characters of the writings are the people who work and visit frequently barbershops and me, because one of the objectives of this work was to question the relationship between researcher and object of study. This product was able to see me facing a duality: to investigate the other , different from me , and find that, in that context, that I turned out to be different: the bicho raro. However, this helped me to understand the various nuances between the afro s world and mine world, perceiving it not as extreme, but with different contrasts.
