Abstract
The investigation wants to give a face to those women who are behind the rifle. Those women who decided to take the armed path as a way of life. Those women who were forced to enter these groups, many of them as victims of abuses; but above all, that are warriors and brave subjects. It is an invitation to analyze the conflict from another perspective, from the women who were part of the armed groups. It is an initiative to give them a face and, thus, allow society to know more about them and to recognize them as resilient women. Likewise, the research serves as a pretext to show the relationship between the social representation of the demobilized women and how this is reflected in the advertising narratives. Analyzing how the Colombian armed conflict has changed the image of the ex-combatant woman and how advertising influences the transmission of stereotypes and prejudices that lead to re-victimization of these women.
