The aural grottoes : music, sonority and affection in Clarice Lispector's "Agua Viva"résumé
Abstrait
The present research marks the possibility of approaching Clarice Lispector's novel "Agua Viva" from an aural perspective with a deep study of literature and music. The analysis of the book is based, in the first place, on a tracing of the sound textures that run through the novel. Secondly, the search not only focuses on a theoretical understanding of the novel, but also creates an artistic space where, through different arts such as writing, photography and music, the sonic matters that surround the world of the novel are explored together with the experience of the human being in the universe; sounds are understood as tools that de-automate our everyday life and help us, constantly, to perceive that which we call "the instant".
