Stylistic considerations for the interpretation of the Sonata in A major, Opus 13 for violin and piano by Gabriel Fauré based on the theory and history of music.Sommario
Astratto
Gabriel Fauré's work is recognized because, unlike that of many composers of his time, it is quite stable, speaking of musical aspects. It assumes certain characteristics that anticipate the techniques used by Impressionist composers. Fauré is recognized for the use of elegant, original and refined melodic lines that show certain manifestations of musical impressionism. Based on this, it generates the curiosity to go further and understand the expressive content of the Sonata in A major, Opus 13 for violin and piano, with the idea of having greater clarity in the development and interpretation of the four movements of this work .
The main objective of having a deeper approach in this work is that in part it is a somewhat unknown terrain that does not have the same tools that the works of composers like J.S Bach and Beethoven already have.
