Let's know our judicial past : the historical documents of the Supreme Court of Justice 1823 - 1830Resumen
El patrimonio documental está conformado por una gran variedad de soportes, como manuscritos, libros, periódicos, carteles, etc., considerados como tal por su valor histórico, artístico, científico, literario y cultural, estos se pueden convertir además en patrimonio histórico y deben ser conservados por ser testimonio y fuente para la contextualización de cualquier hecho del pasado y dar cuenta de la identidad social de un grupo, pueblo o nación. En este orden de ideas, la Corte Suprema de Justicia custodia los acervos documentales de la Alta Corte durante los años 1823 a 1830, reunidos en 24 tomos (354 expedientes) tipo libro conservados en su soporte original. Esta investigación aplicada busca identificar y difundir el patrimonio documental histórico-judicial del país producido por la Corte durante la década de 1820-30, documentos que se encuentran en riesgo de desaparecer por su estado de conservación. La primera parte de este documento hace la revisión y análisis a las regulaciones de la época, iniciando con la Constitución Política de la República de 1821 y demás leyes que se expidieron hasta 1830, con el fin de conocer de los negocios o asuntos atendidos por la Alta Corte de Justicia y establecer las categorías conceptuales de archivo para la clasificación de la información del fondo. La segunda parte, se centra en los documentos de la Alta Corte, a partir de la recolección de información y visitas a los archivos de la Corte Suprema de Justicia, se realizó una descripción del fondo documental, del estado de los soportes, la transcripción de los índices de contenido de todos los expedientes judiciales (354 expedientes) y la clasificación de estos en las categorías conceptuales de archivo definidas en la primera parte. Producto de lo anterior se generó la Guía de archivo de los documentos de la Alta Corte de Justicia: 1823 - 1830, basada en el estándar de descripción archivística ISADG, donde se aborda la información del contenido de los expedientes, fechas, ubicación, clasificación y demás datos de interés para su recuperación y análisis, la guía se encuentra anexa al documento.
Abstract
Documentary heritage is made up of a wide variety of supports, such as manuscripts, books, newspapers, posters, etc., considered as such for their historical, artistic, scientific, literary and cultural value, these can also become historical heritage and must be preserved for being a testimony and source for the contextualization of any past event and account for the social identity of a group, people or nation. In this order of ideas, the Supreme Court of Justice guards the documentary collections of the High Court during the years 1823 to 1830, gathered in 24 volumes (354 files) book type preserved in its original support. This applied research seeks to identify and disseminate the historical-judicial documentary heritage of the country produced by the Court during the decade of 1820-30, documents that are at risk of disappearing due to their state of conservation. The first part of this document reviews and analyzes the regulations of the time, starting with the Political Constitution of the Republic of 1821 and other laws that were issued until 1830, in order to learn about the businesses or matters attended by the High Court of Justice and establish the conceptual file categories for the classification of the information of the fund. The second part focuses on the documents of the High Court, based on the collection of information and visits to the archives of the Supreme Court of Justice, a description of the documentary collection, the state of the supports, the transcription of the content indexes of all judicial files (354 files) and their classification in the conceptual file categories defined in the first part. As a result of the foregoing, the Archive Guide of the documents of the High Court of Justice: 1823 - 1830 was generated, based on the ISADG archival description standard, where the information on the content of the files, dates, location, classification, and other data of interest for its recovery and analysis, the guide is attached to this document.
