Analysis of the "Proyectos Ambientales Escolares (PRAE)" and their input in the solution of the rural and urban environmental problems in the city of Yopal, Casanarerésumé
Los Proyectos Ambientales Escolares (PRAE) son un instrumento pedagógico de las Instituciones Educativas, que intenta dar respuesta a problemas ambientales, en el caso del municipio de Yopal, las estrategias y proyectos de la educación ambiental que se han hecho a nivel de los colegios no han sido lo suficientemente robustos, como para atender los problemas ambientales que enfrenta el municipio. En este sentido, esta investigación es una apuesta por alimentar estos vacíos de conocimiento a través de un estudio de caso en Yopal, que permita a otros trabajos desarrollar análisis, apuestas y estrategias para el mejoramiento de estos proyectos ambientales en pro de una educación ambiental. La investigación se desarrolló bajo el enfoque de la ecología política, es de tipo cualitativo y las técnicas de recolección de información se desarrollan por cada objetivo específico, Para dar cumplimiento al objetivo 1 con la herramienta Excel se graficaron diferentes criterios y variables, se identificó desde el discurso de los PRAES las apuestas, objetivos, metas, acciones y alcances para atender problemáticas ambientales rurales y urbanas del municipio de Yopal, para el 2 objetivo se logra caracterizar las percepciones de la institucionalidad ambiental en Yopal sobre las problemáticas ambientales del municipio y se hace una discusión profunda desde la ecología política sobre el tema de los residuos sólidos. por último, se generar recomendaciones que permitan mejorar las apuestas de los PRAES en termino de dar solución de problemas ambientales locales a escala rural y urbana.
Abstrait
The School Environmental Projects (PRAE) are a pedagogical instrument of the Educational Institutions, which tries to give answer to environmental problems, in the case of the municipality of Yopal, the strategies and projects of environmental education that have been made at the level of the schools have not been robust enough, as to attend the environmental problems that the municipality faces. In this sense, this research is a bet to feed these gaps of knowledge through a case study in Yopal, which allows other works to develop analysis, bets and strategies for the improvement of these environmental projects in favor of an environmental education. The research was developed under the approach of political ecology, it is qualitative and the data collection techniques are developed for each specific objective. In order to comply with objective 1 with the Excel tool, different criteria and variables were plotted, and from the discourse of the PRAES, the stakes, objectives, goals, actions and scopes were identified in order to address the needs of the environmental education projects, For the second objective, the perceptions of the environmental institutions in Yopal on the environmental problems of the municipality were characterized and a deep discussion was made from the political ecology on the issue of solid waste. Finally, recommendations are generated to improve the PRAES in terms of providing solutions to local environmental problems at the rural and urban scale.
