Distributed permutation flow shop stochastic to minimize the expected tardyZusammenfassung
Lately, scheduling problems have been taking more strength and relevance inside the organizations and companies on account of the impact in accomplishing the achievements of the company. With this more and more globalized world, production and management of resources can be growing since the one and only factory, until that complex network of distributed production. This article studies the Distributed Permutation Flow shop (DPFSP) stochastic which minimizes the expected tardiness value. In order to solve this problem, it is proposed a simheuristic based on a genetic algorithm mixed with Monte Carlo simulation. Also, looking for rate and evaluate the outcome of the simheuristic proposed, there were used 92 instances digged out of the literature in which can be evidenced that the improvement of the solution in compare with short instances was 100%. On the other hand, speaking about long instances, in the 88% of the runs, it was found a better solution with the simheuristic. However, it needs to be highlighted that in the 100% of the instances it was found at least 6 possible solutions where the objective function gets in decrease with the simheuristic, having made 9 runs per instance. Comparing the simheuristic with the mathematical model and the ATC dispatch rule -in the obtained statistical results- it can be identified that the expected tardiness can be improved in a 20%, compared with other methods already mentioned.
