The growth of the Bogota City, is due to increased population, which has created new areas of different consolidation degree generally located in peripheral territories, resulting in the weakening of the central areas due to desertion or underutilization of the infrastructure existing here. This weakening results in loss of functionality, quality housing, activities deterioration and free space and built degradation, but these reasons allows processes of recovery, renewal and/or rehabilitation, which allow changes in land use, re-integration of residents and attraction of floating population )re-densification).
