Abstract
This project explores the definitions of photography, accompanied by an inquiry into the idea of the ruin of modernity. I intend to amplify the ways in which we understand photographic images, taking the concept further than the simple idea of photography as capturing an instant, of stopping time. To this end, I track what could be called the photograph's expanded moment, studying the idea of ruin, particularly in modem-day Colombia. The work questions the idea of the footprint left by man in the spaces he inhabits, his stories abandoned by time.
