Abstract
The Central is a neighborhood bordering the municipality of Soledad and one of the most isolated housing estates. Despite being close to one of the main arteries of Soledad, Avenida Murillo, does not enjoy the infrastructure or the opportunities offered by the city. For this reason, it is an area that should promote its own projects. Center of Integration and culture of the Caribbean emerges as a solution to this problem, providing the community with integration spaces not only with the same but also with the municipality. The first strategy focuses on the creation of a Center for Integration and Culture, which is an equipment for the community seeking social integration, currently absent in La Central. This is made up of five uses. Two of them, the theater and the cinematheque, look for to generate a municipal relation between the district and Soledad since, Through the use of different cultural events, these are shown as development scenarios for them. On the other hand, the library, the training workshop and the children's music workshop are established as uses destined directly to the community, which seek to train the inhabitants of the center and in the process to strengthen the social ties that are currently non-existent. Within this is sought to promote the ideal of social integration and community. This is why, through the pedestrian and vehicular access of the urban proposal and its strategies of public spaces will become the epicenter of cultural activities of the neighborhood and more important, will become the point of new dynamics for greater Rooting in the La Central neighborhood.
