Abstract
This paper is an approach to Schopenhauer's reflection, which is presented both in The World as Will and Representation, his principal work and in his minor texts. Special emphasis is made on issues that affect human existence as a whole and it examines the practical sense of the will's philosophy. For this, we start from the perspective of frankness and lightness that encourages Schopenhauer's reflection on human life that happens in the absurdity of a world that don't nothing takes into account the deepest aspirations and lastest desires of man. The exposition is carried out taking into account the indications of the Danizg's thinker in order to learn to play the flute and laugh in the middle of the horror of the world, trying to lead a life detached from metaphysical claims or pretensions to justify the world.
