EL propósito de este artículo es mirar reflexivamente la lectura y la escritura como tareas académicas en la formación de los profesionales de enfermería. A su vez, se analizan aspectos relacionados con la necesidad de motivar al estudiante por medio de las prácticas de enseñanza, de leer y escirbir para dominar la disciplina y de lograr ampliar el campo del conocimiento a través de la producción escrita. Es relevante para la profesión de enfermería que en su proceso de formación se integre, además de los contenidos de las distintas asignaturas, el aprendizaje de la lectura y escritura académica, ya que se requiere profesionales con capacidad de entender lo que leen y escriben, pues lo aprendido en la educación básica y media colombiana no forma al alumno para la prácticas de lectura y escritura que exige la universidad. ABSTRACTThe purpose of this article is a thoughtful view on reading and writing tasks such as academic training for nurses. At the same time it is analyze some issues related to the necessity of motivation on students through the practice of teaching, in which there are improve the reading and writing of themselves, so in that way they could master the discipline and expand their knowledge area trough the writting. It is relevant in the training process of the nursing profession to integrate academic areas in which, in addition to the basic contents fo the career, the reading and writing becomes a priority in the learning of students, because is necessary to have professionals capable to understand what they read and write, taking into account that in Colombia high school the practice on reading and writing is low, compromising the learning on the university.
Abstract
The purpose of this article is a thoughtful view on reading and writing tasks such as academic training for nurses. At the same time it is analyze some issues related to the necessity of motivation on students through the practice of teaching, in which there are improve the reading and writing of themselves, so in that way they could master the discipline and expand their knowledge area trough the writting.
