La reflexión sobre los símbolos es de orden propiamente metafísico. La pregunta por el símbolo desborda el abordaje semiótico en el que una hermenéutica parece asfixiarla. Los símbolos, con su enigmático poder alusivo, exceden nuestras capacidades racionales y representativas. Nos emplazan en el umbral mismo de la infinitud divina y nos brindan así una nueva determinación de la tarea de la metafísica.
Abstract
Inquiry on symbols and reflection lay finto a proper metaphysical order which certainly surpasses a semiotic approach where hermeneutics seems to suffocate them. Full of enigmatic and allusive powers, symbols exceed our rational and representational capacities. They summon us to the very threshold of the divine infinitude and provide us a new detennination of metaphysical tasks.
