El profesor O. Höffe, en su paso por la Facultad de Filosofía de la Javeriana de Bogotá, responde muy amablemente a las preguntas de los profesores Alfonso Flórez y Vicente Durán, que indagan por su proceso de formación filosófica, desde su interés temprano por la filosofía de la física hasta su concentración actual en la filosofía práctica. En este devenir, siempre crítico y creativo, el profesor Höffe subraya cómo para filosofar es preciso estar saturado de experiencia; señala vínculos que su pensamiento guarda con Kant, Aristóteles, Platón, Hegel, la filosofía existencialista francesa; con Heidegger, la fenomenología y la hermenéutica; con la Escuela de Frankfurt, la filosofía analítica, la postmodernidad, y comparte sus ideas acerca de la naturaleza política de la filosofía, su forma de enseñanza y su relevancia en la universidad actual.
Abstract
Our Visiting Professor O. Hoffe, kindly answers to our professors Alfonso Flórez and Vicente Durán, questions about his philosophical process, since his early interests in philosophy of physics to his current focus on practica! philosophy. In this development, always critica! and creative, professor Hoffe underlines how being saturated of experience is needed to philosophize; he indicates his own links with Kant, Aristotle, Plato, Hegel and French existentialists; with Heidegger, phenomenology and hermeneutics; with the Frankfurt School, analytical philosophy, and post-modem thought. Also, he shares with us his ideas on the political nature of philosophy, the way to teach it and how meaningful it is for universities today.
