Guía práctica de español de supervivencia para extranjeros que llegan a Bogotá

Este estudio se realizó con el objetivo de diseñar un material para cooperantes no hispanohablantes inscritos en el convenio entre la Secretaría de Educación de Bogotá y la fundación AIESEC. El material fruto de esta investigación aplicada es una Guia de Español de Supervivencia para extranjeros que llegan a Bogotá. Para el desarrollo de este material, se siguió la ruta metodológica del diseño de materiales propuesta por Bolitho R. y Jolly D. en Tomlinson (2011). Se identificaron las necesidades de los extranjeros y sus intereses en relación con la habilidad oral, el aprendizaje autónomo y las situaciones comunicativas en español más relevantes. En esta etapa, los hallazgos señalaron que hay escasez de materiales para abordar expresiones básicas para comunicarse en contextos cotidianos en Bogotá. Para preparar a los cooperantes no hispanohablantes en el uso de expresiones básicas para comunicarse, se propuso responder a este conjunto de necesidades y problemáticas con el diseño de seis unidades: la ciudad de Bogotá, conocer personas, el transporte, el barrio en el que vivo, ir de compras e ir al médico, las cuales reflejen la realidad en la ciudad.

Abstract

This study was carried out with the objective of designing a material for non-Spanish-speaking cooperators enrolled in the agreement between the Ministry of Education of Bogotá and the AIESEC foundation. The material resulting from this applied research is a Survival Spanish Guide for foreigners who arrive in Bogota. For the development of this material I followed the methodology design route proposed by Bolitho R. and Jolly D. in Tomlinson (2011). The needs of foreigners and their interests in relation to oral skills, autonomous learning and the most relevant Spanish communicative situations were identified. At this stage, the findings indicated that there is a shortage of materials to address basic expressions for communicating in everyday contexts in Bogotá. In order to prepare the non-Spanish speaking shapers in the use of basic expressions to communicate, it was proposed to respond to this set of needs and problems with the design of six units: the city of Bogotá, meeting people, transportation, the neighborhood where I live, go shopping and go to the doctor, which reflect the reality in the city.
