Abstract
From a transnational perspective, the research aims to reconstruct the migratory trajectories of young Venezuelans settled in Colombian territory. With this objective, the historical dynamics of the formation of the migratory phenomenon between Colombia and Venezuela as well as the institutional framework and the State policies on migration in Colombia are identified. In the second stage, the theoretical framework that governs the present research is developed. Transnational approach to migration and the role of young people as protagonists of migratory movements. Subsequently, the motivations, experiences, perspectives and trajectories of young Venezuelans within the country are analyzed, taking into account factors such as age, gender, socioeconomic level and motivations to migrate from Venezuela. Following this, emphasis will be placed on the transnationality of their migratory projects and the way in which the young population establish relations between Venezuela and Colombia to finally analyze the extent to which Colombian migration policies influence the incorporation and tracing of the trajectories of the young Venezuelans. In this sense the research is based on the analysis of semi-structured interviews of young Venezuelans as well as officials from institutions related to the migration, both state and private.
