Abstract
This compact and labyrinthine sector has been growing without any planning directly affecting the Jaboque Wetland, behaving like a parasite in this ecosystem within the city. This growth deteriorates this habitat because in this wetland we find a large amount of waste that affects the flora, fauna and hydrological movement of the wetland, generating environmental problems of pollution and flooding.
Understanding this problem I propose to create a protective membrane supported by a network of pedestrian paths that adhere to the urban fabric, seeking that the city is not the one that enters the wetland, but rather that the wetland begins to enter more into urban spaces. called as a process epiphytic cities concept that was born from a botanical term that expresses the coexistence of two organisms where one adheres to the body of the other without being parasitic bone without damaging the other organism as an example we find plants like Nepenthes, orchids, etc.
