Within the territory of Bogotá there is an important phenomenon associated with socio-spatial segregation and the uncontrolled growth of the city that has generated a fracture of both physical and social inequalities of space, very marked by the strata, these fragmentations experience the greatest inequality indexes, where a large part of the segregated and marginalized population seeks the path of informal commerce as a subsistence alternative. The project proposal is directed towards the informality of the public space and the local market as a space for social construction. In the case of San Martin, it is a sector that manifests itself in parts, where spatial segregation is very marked by strata and activities, deterioration within the sector generates difficulties to access, live and configure relationships with other social groups. An urban restructuring is proposed that aims at the social production of public space in the sector, providing and generating activity centers for informal commerce on a linear park of culture and market, where the continuity of the cultural and commercial corridor of the race 7 and generate an important connection at the level of the natural structure. The market place as an opportunity and potential for cohesion where important social and cultural encounters are generated. The development of the architectural project is a market square that will complement the existing market square of La Perseverancia and will integrate and conform analogous to the informal zone market.
