Mediante una narrativa se hace una invitación al pensamiento de la filosofía del deporte, más específicamente hacia la filosofía de los Juegos Olímpicos. Olimpo es un personaje que emprende una carrera por Europa en busca de filósofos que guien su camino hacia la idea del Olimpismo que persigue. Con el paso de lo kilómetros y de los años los conceptos lo fueron llevando a la paideia de Platón, a la educación física de Kant, a una comprensión estética del deporte que lo ayudó a llegar bien preparado al resplandor del deporte moderno. Su carrera que comenzó en 776 a.C. en los I Juegos Olímpicos, se termina con la comprensión del origen del deporte y el ethos que representa en la filosofía vital de José Ortega y Gasset.
Abstrait
Through a narrative an invitation to the philosophy of sports is made, more specifically towards the philosophy of the Olympic Games. Olympo is a character who embarks on a career in Europe in search of philosophers who guide their way to the idea of Olympism that pursues. With the passing of the kilometers and the years the concepts were taking him to the paideia of Plato, to the physical education of Kant, to an aesthetic understanding of the sport that helped him arrive well prepared to the splendour of modern sport. His career that began in 776 a.C in the I Olympic Games, ends with the understanding of the origin of the sport and the ethos it represents in José Ortega y Gasset's vital philosophy.
