Resumen
El presente trabajo de grado hace un análisis sobre el discurso del Partido Demócrata de los EEUU en materia de derechos civiles, particularmente alrededor de las categorías de género, raza e identidad sexual. Esto se logra a partir del estudio de caso de los discursos SOTU (State of the Union) de los presidentes Bill Clinton y Barack Obama.
Abstract
The following paper analyzes the discourse of the Democratic Party of the United States of America in relation to civil rights, particularly around the categories of gender, race and sexual identity. This is done through the study of SOTU (State of the Union) speeches that were pronounced by former presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama.
