Resumen
Este trabajo de grado, surge de la inquietud de componer piezas musicales que tuvieran como inspiración la literatura, buscando alcanzar la mayor libertad posible para escoger la forma en cómo aproximar la creación musical a las obras literarias.
Las obras literarias que inspiraron esta creación son: El Ingenioso Hidalgo Don Quijote de La Mancha de Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra, y María de Jorge Isaacs.
Se realizaron dos obras musicales independientes en formatos diferentes, la primera denominada Semblanzas del Quijote, está hecha para banda sinfónica. La segunda en cambio, está hecha para Guitarra y cuarteto de cuerdas y lleva por título Valle Perdido.
Abstract
This degree´s work, arises from the concern of composing musical pieces that were inspired by literature, seeking to achieve the greatest possible freedom to choose the way in how to approach musical creation to literary works. The literary works that inspired this creation are: El Ingenioso Hidalgo Don Quijote de La Mancha by Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra, and María by Jorge Isaacs.
Two independent musical works were made in different formats, the first called Semblanzas del Quijote, has been made for symphonic band. The second work on the other hand, is made for guitar and string quartet and is entitled Valle Perdido.
