Abstract
It is logical to think that like trees, human beings need strong and stable roots to avoid falling or collapsing. These roots are what allow us to stand and endure the adversities that come out in life. It is in them, where the human being finds its base and its stability. When people do not find that stability in themselves, they usually look for them in someone or something else. According to the approach that I intend to develop, this is a brief explanation of why there are dependent relationships between human beings. If the person does not find stability in himself, he or she will automatically look for it in another. But what happens if people lose this stability altogether? If the person does not find it in himself, or in any other thing or person that surrounds them?
From this point my research starts. My concern arises from the fact of wanting to know what lies in the lack of stability that often ends in dependence on other people or that may even end in suicide. My research basically focuses on the need to answer a question that came up after my personal experience. What makes a person get to the point of wanting to take his own life?
It is clear that, many times, the explanations that are given to this type of behavior, are usually linked to depressive behaviors that are usually explained and treated by processes and psychiatric knowledge. But, what happens when traditional medicine does not always have an explanation for all the behaviors of the human being? The reality is that there are many cases of depressive symptoms that can be treated without any traditional medical process that involves the use of antidepressants or any other medication.
My proyect is not directed to demerit traditional medicine, nor much less. What I intend is to try to give many people, who may be going through similar situations, another alternative; An alternate path a little away from what is normally taught and is instilled in people since childhood. But also, a way that manages to give explanations and solutions to many things that sometimes even medicine can not explain.
Thus, through academic texts, together with my personal experience, I will take the Hindu theory of energy centers (chakras) to explain the lack of emotional stability and the depressive behaviors that invade the lives of human beings. My research focuses on bringing this type of people to an alternative thinking and that, really, becomes aware of the problem you have. This is where one of the most important concepts enters into my research problem: identification. The reality is that the human being in his majority is usually very skeptical and very reserved before remote possibilities of the traditional thing. Identification of a person with a specific topic, can help raise awareness of many things and approach unknown issues breaking the established. That is why, through the construction of a feature film script, I intend to solve my research problem.
