Resumen
Este trabajo de grado pretende mostrar la importancia de la imagen como fuente para el estudio de la historia. Por medio de las fotografías de Lewis Hine tomadas a comienzos del siglo XX, se discute acerca del trabajo infantil en Estados Unidos, se utiliza bibliografía acerca de la teoría de imagen, y se finaliza con una parte creativa en la que la intervención de imágenes nos permite tener distintas comprensiones acerca del pasado.
Abstract
This work shows the importance of images to study the past. By showing some pictures of Lewis Hine taken in the early 20th century, child labor in the United States of America is discussed. After this discussion, there is a chapter that shows some of the most important investigations related to theory of image. On the final chapter, this work has a creative component in which intervention on pictures can help us have different understandings about the past.
