Abstract
The present work seeks to make a reflection on the fragments and testimonies of Heraclitus of
Ephesus in order to have an experience of what could be called his wisdom. For this, the work is
divided into three chapters that cover the three fundamental themes that can be detected in the
sentences of the philosopher. The first chapter deals with the language and reading of sentences,
observing the historical and philosophical implications of their style. In the second, the Heraclitian
notion of nature is approached, trying to understand the way it operates in the world and the
things in it. Finally, the third chapter addresses the Heraclitean vision of the human being as
problematic, seeing how the way of inhabiting the world has consequences in the different areas
of human life.
