Abstract
This work seeks to establish an interpretation procedure that Giambattista Vico devised in his masterpiece
New Science, as effective way to reach what he considered was the truth of the mythical narratives of
primitive men. The author’s objective was to establish the social nature of humans. Therefore, he starts a
reinterpretation process of the stories of the first men where he discovers that the primitive men mentality
had a thinking poetic structure, which was the root of the human itself and later was the origin of first
nations. Such objectives are only possible if it assumed that the first men minds were an opened treasure
for modern men, provided that an intellectual discipline is developed based on phylogenetic and
ontogenetic principles, and that uses Philosophy and Philology with the objective of unravel the mysteries
of those primordial stories. By this way, it is possible to recognize the truth as a narration of the works of
the gods Jove and Zeus or in the efforts faced by the most representative of the heroes, Hercules.
According with this perspective, it is possible to know the inside myths build by the first humans.
