Abstrait
The guiding questions for this research are the subsequent. Starting from the verification of the existence of violent and nonviolent images of God in the Judeo-Christian tradition we can ask ourselves: Is there a relation between the named images and the quality of the believer relation with God? How can we identify that relation? And how can we identify the possible healing of the “violent God” image from the quality of the believer relation with God?
The reflection about this issue start from the verification of a religious dynamism in the human being. This is the fruit of the God love gift. This dynamism is characterized by an ambiguous expression, it is the result of people and communities’ movement between their authenticity and unauthenticity behave. The produced and given symbols by the tradition are too affected by the reality of the human authenticity and unauthenticity. In this way, the healing possibility of the “violent God” image goes through the correction of symbols and believes production. This correction makes use of the faith to get the acquaintance of God images more authentic. Therefore, the faith must be lived and qualified to leave the named healing takes place. In this case, it is going to be the fruit of a more authentic being’s relation with God. Regarding the faith as a process, we pretend to use the mystic path model to explain the faith development.
