This research proposal focuses on the theological deepening of the theme of armed violence as a factor in the social fragmentation of the community of Miraflores, Boyacá. Taking into account the theological intention of the investigation, the afore mentioned problem is solidified in the following terms: What is the contribution of Christian faith to the generation of lines of action with regard to the reconstruction of the social fabric broken by armed violence in the community of Miraflores (Boyacá) between 1991-2005? With regard to tackling this problem theologically, the investigation is based on the method of the Theology of Human Action (THA). From the reality of armed violence it is proposed, in the first phase, to recuperate the collective memory from the narratives of the victims of armed violence in so far as they can be considered locations of divine revelation. In the second phase, a critical-analytical analysis of the narratives of the facts of those who suffered the armed violence is presented. In the third phase, a synthesis of the results of the first two phases, lines of action in the tonic of Christian discipleship are sought with the aim of contributing to the reconstruction of the broken social fabric in Miraflores.
