Sommario

The commensality exercise, is a reality experienced by all human beings, regardless of culture, creed or others. For its part, Christianity has been enriching the concept, taking it from the isolated fact of sitting down to eat with another person, to the significant reality where love, oblation, service, fidelity and unity are experienced, in the daily act of sitting down to share the table together and of living in the same home. This conceptual wealth, but above all experiential, is what allows us to build beside with the students of the Colegio Maria Inmaculada, a methodological process that contributes to the integral growth of the homes, that does not attack those who have different ways of believing in Christianity and the same time empower young women of their historical mission, guarantee the continuity of the process and achieve the improvement of the quality of life of current and future families. This process is characterized by starting with the knowledge and recognition of both the other and itself; it continues with a process of community building, of experiences that allow to reach or that contribute to the way in which the commensality must be lived, and ends with a space of socialization, which allows the elaboration of agreements, the recognition of meaningful experiences of the different processes and integral community support to people who were presented with a situation at the time of trying to experience the commensality with their loved ones.
