Abstract
This work is the product of a detailed bibliographical exploration around the theme of authenticity and self-feeling; which will be approached using the ideas of the self from Donald Winnicott, the normotic structure of the personality according to Cristopher Bollas, the personalities as if proposed by the psychoanalyst Helen Deutsch and the reflections on the functioning of the anti-analyzes or robot analyzes that Joyce McDougall formulates. These concepts will be later articulated with the theory of self-care developed by Martin Heidegger and some concrete notes regarding the child's virtue of being able to surpass himself by Friederich Nietzsche. After the analysis of these contributions, it was found that the adaptive tendency of people leads them to develop a psychic defense expressed as a shelf, which consists of a normative attitude, and it is based on the mimicry and emptying of personal, silent and genuine elements. This structure has a spectrum that may lead to a necessary adaptability that ensures the continuity of the person's existence, up to a pathology in which, having a sort of "pruning" of subjective elements may lose the capacity to suffer, self-observe and create from the most proper aspect of ourselves. Finally, the value of the interdisciplinary dialogue between psychoanalysis and philosophy is highlighted; because the previously described concepts are enriched, as well as the link between both currents of thought.
