Abstract
One of the main objectives of this degree work is to think about the relationship between being and appearance exposed in Hegel and Nietzsche's art philosophies and the way in which this relationship is expressed by ballet. Throughout these pages, the reader will be able to observe how the relationship between being and appearance expresses itself in ballet. In the first chapter, we want to understand ballet from the system of the arts proposed by Hegel and, at the same time, make a historical study of this dance. The idea is to support why ballet developed in the 19th century expresses, through pantomime, the relationship between being and appearance. Later, in the second chapter, we want to establish a relationship between Nietzsche and ballet, studying this dance from the notion of "Power Will" to see that the only possible reality in Nietzschean philosophy is appearance.
