Agujeros corporales : representaciones racializadas en la construcción yoica a mediados del siglo XIX en el altiplano colombiano

En la presente investigación se estudia la ambivalencia centrada en la construcción de representaciones alrededor del mestizo y al mestizaje en la segunda mitad del siglo XIX en el altiplano colombiano. Este estudio se encuentra enmarcado en el campo de la Historia cultural articulado con el Psicoanálisis. De manera que es una investigación basada en problemáticas socioraciales, motivo por el cual la corporalidad representa un factor relevante en la construcción del yo, de lo social y lo cultural. Los agujeros corporales representan el eslabón entre lo cultural y lo psíquico, lo inconsciente. Es a través de estos agujeros corporales que se visibilizan las ambigüedades, las contradicciones y la otredad del yo, en una sociedad en la que el blanqueamiento representaba un ideal y un movilizador en la organización social de sus pobladores.

Abstract

This research studies the ambivalence focused on the construction of representations around the mestizo and the miscegenation in the second half of the nineteenth century in the Colombian highlands. This study is framed in the field of Cultural History articulated with Psychoanalysis. This investigation is based on socio-racial problems, which is why corporality represents a relevant factor in the self, the social and the cultural construction. Body holes represent the link between the cultural and the psychic, the unconscious. It is through these body holes that the ambiguities, contradictions and otherness of the self are visible, in a society in which bleaching represented an ideal and a mobilizer in the social organization of its inhabitants.
