English Title
Aristophanes' Swan FrogsResumen
Abstract
In this work, I go over the role of the chorus of frogs in The Frogs, a comedy written by Aristoohanes in the 5th century BC. The play is a critique of the events that were taking place in Athens at the time. The play's title refers to one of its chorus, one that has often been deemed unimportant by critics. Nevertheless, I believe the frogs are not a random part of this play and are not there just by chance. My objective is to analyze how this chorus affects the play as a whole, what are the consequences of its existence within the play, and what might be its relevance.
