A partir del acercamiento al cosplay femenino como práctica performativa, este proyecto despliega una serie de experimentaciones en torno a las posibilidades del cuerpo y del goce, privilegiando la multiplicidad sobre la identidad, y la anarquía sobre el deber ser del juicio moral. El proyecto se fundamenta en una práctica multidisciplinar que involucra acciones, escritura, dibujo, fotografía, collage y escultura; y se nutre del Anime, los Videojuegos y la cultura Otaku, apropiando otras maneras de concebir la imagen y la práctica artística.
Abstract
Based on an approach to female cosplay as a performative practice, this project unfolds a series of experiments around the possibilities of the body and of jouissance, privileging multiplicity over identity, and anarchy over the duty of moral judgment. The project is based on a multidisciplinary practice that involves actions, writing, drawing, photography, collage and sculpture; and is nourished by Anime, Video Games and Otaku culture, appropriating other ways of conceiving the image and artistic practice.
