El Concierto para violín y orquesta, Op. 61 de Ludwig van Beethoven es actualmente una
de las piezas con mayor reconocimiento y tradición en el repertorio del instrumento. Es
también considerado por intérpretes y público especializado como una de las más grandes
obras que se hayan escrito para el violín y ha llegado al punto de ser estimado como una de
las que por su dimensión e innovación musical se exhibe como cumbre de la interpretación.
El presente escrito explora la concepción del concierto desde su génesis y contexto en la
obra de Beethoven, recorre las influencias en su desarrollo y ofrece un análisis formal
desde la perspectiva interpretativa enfocándose en el primer movimiento Allegro ma non
troppo.
Abstract
Ludwig van Beethoven's Concerto for Violin and Orchestra, Op. 61 is currently one of the pieces with the greatest recognition and tradition in the repertoire of the instrument. It is also considered by interpreters and specialized public as one of the largest
works that have been written for the violin, and has reached the point of being regarded as one of
those that, due to their dimension and musical innovation, are exhibited as the summit of interpretation.
This writing explores the conception of the concert from its genesis and context in Beethoven's work, traces the influences on its development and offers a formal analysis from the interpretive perspective focusing on the first movement Allegro ma non
troppo.
