La encíclica Laudato si’ es un llamado del papa Francisco a la humanidad, es un llamado al diálogo y al análisis de los verdaderos problemas que debemos enfrentar, un llamado en el que la paz es necesaria. Es una reflexión sobre las razones que afirman la creencia en un creador del universo. Es un documento profundamente religioso que invita a pensar sobre los principios, especialmente del cristianismo y sus raíces judías. Es una invitación a todas las religiones a tener un acercamiento que permita superar los antagonismos y la radicalización. Y es también un documento científico que reconoce los fundamentos de la ciencia y la necesidad que tiene la religión de aproximarse a esta, entenderla, aceptarla, acogerla y evidenciar sus limitaciones.
Abstract
The encyclical Laudato si' is a call from Pope Francis to humanity, it is a call for dialogue and analysis of the real problems that we must face, a call in which peace is necessary. It is a reflection on the reasons that affirm the belief in a creator of the universe. It is a deeply religious document that invites you to think about the principles, especially of Christianity and its Jewish roots. It is an invitation to all religions to have an approach that allows to overcome antagonisms and radicalization. And it is also a scientific document that recognizes the foundations of science and the need for religion to approach it, understand it, accept it, embrace it and demonstrate its limitations.
