Amarte. The design of an experience for the acceptance of the female bodySommario

Today, and since ancient times, the female body and those who identify themselves as women, have been pressured by a social standard called the beauty canon. This is an assumption of what they should look like to be accepted by their surroundings and thus feel beautiful, which generates pressure for them to look and be in a particular way. There are different means by which information is presented that negatively affects the way in which they perceive their body, the ideals they build themselves and the way in which they judge themselves, making these situations have negative effects on their lives.
This document justify the aforementioned problems and concludes that in the future, based on the design of a critical social project that uses dance therapy as a tool, It will be possible to have a positive impact on the way in which women accept themselves by
devaluing the current stereotypes that exist in society.
