Abstract
In real life, the “Vehicle Routing Problem” (VRP) includes variables that take into account the stochasticity of
demands and times. Most of the works and studies around this problem, consider the VRP in a deterministic way
in order to limit it and to solve it easier. Solving a problem like VRP with stochastic demands and times, provides
the opportunity to give a more realistic context to the problems that companies face daily related with the lack of
information of the specific demand, times and time windows that their customers have. Implementing a model that
analyzes these random variables, allows a more accurate approach to the costs that may be incur at and at the same
time, creates the possibility to generate strategies to reduce them. Therefore, a hybridized simheuristic will be
designed with the Non-Dominated Genetic Algorithm (NSGA-ll) methodology to minimize costs and tardiness in
a VRP with stochastic demands, route times and time windows, which can be applied in real environments.
