Like, wow, love, sad. An investigation on our interaction with the news that affects us in times of coronavirusResumen
Abstract
The current virus, known as coronavirus (Covid-19) has spread throughout the world, not only biologically (classified as a pandemic), but also through the news circulating on social networks, generating various types of emotional symptoms that show the critical social situation in which we are. These symptoms will be observed in this work from the anthropology of emotions to explore the most exacerbated at this time: anger, panic, pride, empathy, etc. It is intended to make an analysis of user interaction, around the news surrounding the coronavirus, and the emotions that are transmitted virtually, through the social network Facebook, as well as an analysis of the speeches that are transmitted in those news. It will delve into the conjuncture literature as a source of debate and conjunctural analysis, in the news and emotion literature to understand perspectives and specific cases, as well as the cybernetnography literature as a key source of the methodology. To carry out this investigation, it will be necessary to recount those more significant news in the Colombian sphere. I will also make use of cybernetnography and the continuous capture of news, reactions and comments, as extensions of said news to be analyzed in the key of the news discourse. Based on what has been worked on, it is intended to make an analysis of our current relationship with the news and social networks.
