Ex-combatant women building peace in the cradle of resistance : a gender perspective in the construction of territorial peace in the AETCR of Planadas, Tolima

Resumen

Esta tesis busca un punto de convergencia de las categorías teóricas de posacuerdo, construcción de paz territorial y género para explicar la experiencia de la mujer excombatiente del AETCR de Planadas, Tolima. De esta manera, se eligen dos proyectos productivos de este espacio territorial para reunir los matices y aspectos suficientes que den cuenta de la construcción de paz territorial por parte de las mujeres excombatientes en Planadas. Para cumplir con este interés investigativo se optó por una metodología cualitativa e inductiva, apoyada en un estudio de caso y en la etnografía como herramienta de investigación social. Con todo esto, se hallaron estereotipos discriminatorios de índole machista por parte de hombres y mujeres excombatientes, así como serios desafíos y retos para las mujeres excombatientes que buscan construir paz en el AETCR.

Abstract

This thesis seeks a point of convergence of the theoretical categories of post-agreement, construction of territorial peace and gender to explain the experience of the ex-combatant woman of the AETCR of Planadas, Tolima. In this way, two productive projects of this territorial space are chosen to bring together the nuances and sufficient aspects that account for the construction of territorial peace by the ex-combatants in Planadas. To fulfill this research interest, a qualitative and inductive methodology was chosen, supported by a case study and ethnography as a social research tool. With all this, discriminatory stereotypes of a sexist nature were found on the part of ex-combatant men and women, as well as serious challenges and challenges for ex-combatant women who seek to build peace in the AETCR.
