Jardín en paisaje de ceniza : una práctica ética y estética sobre las huellas del Antropoceno

En esta investigación, mis prácticas artísticas dialogan con el Antropoceno proponiendo entender y leer la huella humana que intervino desde la década de 1930 el borde urbano de Bogotá, surtiendo el material para su expansión y re-trazando también urbanizando al río Tunjuelo. En ese sitio de revelaciones hice un levantamiento narrativo de mi experiencia. Busqué excavar en los rastros de las prácticas mineras de La Fiscala (Usme) los ritmos, texturas, bordes, temporalidades y recursos narrativos de un territorio socavado que guió mi desplazamiento a otro lugar hasta encontrar las resonancias que me ayudaran a interactuar con la biodiversidad, agenciando un proceso creativo. Poniendo en diálogo esos dos lugares de los bordes opuestos de la ciudad -Usme y La Calera-, continué desarrollando el proceso de investigación instalando un lugar de creación que dio lugar al jardín en paisaje de cenizas; allí, la cotidianidad de los seres vivos y su uso de los recursos, me permitieron interactuar en el paisaje y activar un diálogo sensible que manifestara el jardín en función de lo que aún persiste. Esta investigación propone la creación de un jardín surgido de las cenizas del Antropoceno indagando las maneras de ser y hacer de un artista que se vincula con el residuo humano para abordar el uso que hacemos de la biodiversidad y los recursos geológicos de los que nos apropiamos.

Abstract

In this investigation, my artistic practices dialogue with the Anthropocene trying to understand and read the human print that intervened since the 1930’s in the urban border of Bogota, supplying the materials for its expansión and re-tracing the course of the now urbanized Tunjuelo river. In this site of revelations I did a narrative insight of my experience. I excavated in the traces of the minning practices of La Fiscala (Usme) in the search for rythms, textures, borders, temporalities and narrative resources of a socavated territory that guided me to another place where I could find resonances that could help me to interact with the biodiversity in the making of a creative process. Between the dialogue of those two oposite borders of the city -Usme and La Calera- I continued to develop an investigation process situated in a place of creation that gave rise to a garden of ashes; there, the daily life of living things and their use of resources allowed me to interact with the landscape and activate a sensitive dialogue that manifested a garden based on what still persist. This investigation proposes the creation of a garden that rises from the ashes of the Anthropocene inquiring in the ways of being and ways of doing as an artist that gets entangled with human remnants to approach to our use the biodiversity and the geological resources that we have appropiated.
