Colombia y Corea del Sur han construido una relación especial en la actualidad. Los lazos se han fortalecido a través de los años gracias a los esfuerzos conjuntos de las dos naciones. No obstante, es de suma importancia hacer un recorrido histórico del vínculo para comprender lo que sucede en la actualidad y cómo pueden ser mejorados y reforzados. De esta forma, el trabajo aborda el periodo 1951-2022, comenzando por la asistencia del país latinoamericano a la guerra de Corea, pasando por las coyunturas internas y el alejamiento temporal de las dos, teniendo en cuenta los cambios estructurales a nivel internacional que auspiciaron un interés a nivel económico, abordando los factores culturales que han propulsado diferentes proyectos, y por último, entendiendo que se debe realizar un análisis de las diferentes influencias y factores que han podido afectar para así proponer una perspectiva que ayude a mejorar aún más esta relación bilateral.
Abstract
Colombia and South Korea have built a special relationship at present. Ties have been strengthened over the years thanks to the joint efforts of the two nations. However, it is of utmost importance to make a historical review of the link to understand what is happening today and how it can be improved and strengthened. Thus, the work addresses the period 1951-2022, starting with the Latin American country's assistance to the Korean War, going through the internal junctures and the temporary estrangement of the two, taking into account the structural changes at the international level that sponsored an interest at the economic level, addressing the cultural factors that have propelled different projects, and finally, understanding that an analysis of the different influences and factors that may have affected in order to propose a perspective that helps to further improve this bilateral relationship should be carried out.
