La historia de la implementación de la Cátedra de Estudios Afrocolombianos en el colegio Nelson Mandela I.E.D. de Bogotá

Este informe de sistematización de la implementación de la Cátedra de Estudios Afrocolombianos en el colegio Nelson Mandela IED de la ciudad de Bogotá (Colombia), muestra como este proyecto puede ayudar a fortalecer una sana convivencia, creando espacios donde se acepta la diversidad cultural y étnica a través de la enseñanza de la misma visibilizando poblaciones afrocolombianas desde su historia, su cultura y los saberes ancestrales que han contribuido a la formación de nación. Igualmente, cuestiona flagelos como el racismo escolar, que tanto afecta a los niños, niñas y jóvenes afrocolombianos. El informe describe las actividades que se han logrado realizar en torno a la CEA y los efectos que han tenido en la comunidad educativa, mediante entrevistas hechas a sus protagonistas, recopilación de la documentación como: actas, periódicos, artículos, memorias fotográficas entre otras. También muestra, una investigación amplia sobre categorías como: la etnoeducación, interculturalidad, implementación de la cátedra en Colombia y el racismo en la escuela y en la infancia, donde se problematizan los conocimientos que van aportar a la investigación. Finalmente, se reflexiona sobre el currículo y la forma como este puede trasverzalizar la cátedra para que sea más asertiva en la institución educativa. Este informe de sistematización es un insumo para muchas instituciones que desconocen metodologías para implementar la CEA sin incurrir en folklorización, escencialización y estereotipia.

Abstract

This report of systematization of the implementation history of the professorchip in afrocolombian studies at the Nelson Mandela IED in Bogotá (Colombia), shows how this project can help to reinforce a healthy covivence, by creating spaces whewre cultural and ethnic diversity is accepted and respect through the teaching of itself, makig the afrocolombian populations visible since its history, its culture and ancestors knowledlges, which have contributed to the formation of the nation. In the same way, it is questions problems like the schoo racism, which affects the little boys and little girls afrocolombians. The report describes the activities that have been done about the CEA, and the effects which have had in the educational communiy, through interviews done to its protagonists, compilation of the documents as: proceedings, newspapers,articles, photograhic memories among others.It also shows, a wide research about categories like: ethnoeducation,interculturality,implementation of the professorship in Colombia and the racism in the school and the childhood, where the knowledges are questioned which are going to contribute to the research.Finally,, it is reflected about the curriculum and the way this professorship can be mainstreamed, so that it can be more assertive in the educational institution. This report of sistematization is an input for many institutions that ignore methodologies to implement the CEA without incurring in folks, essentializing and stereotypes.
