“Las tecnologías del yo en el pedagogo de Clemente de Alejandría” (150-216 d.C)

El Pedagogo, es una de las tres grandes obras del filósofo cristiano Clemente de Alejandría (150-216 d.C), objeto de mi disertación, que consiste en indagar por la hipótesis que traigo, la cual es a grosso modo, pensar que esta obra se podría entender como una tecnología del yo. Para ello se plantea una apropiación de esta categoría, del filósofo francés Michel Foucault. En virtud de lo anterior, se procede a indagar por el método arqueo-genealógico, en clave de las apropiaciones que hago de este, para luego desarrollar las categorías centrales (saber, sujeto y poder) en el marco de la configuración de las tecnologías del yo, conforme a las caracterizaciones presentadas por Foucault en la Hermenéutica del sujeto, junto con algunos ejes hallados en Historia de la sexualidad I-III y otras fuentes. Todo esto para luego cruzar con la obra El Pedagogo, presentando con ello, una reflexión y apropiación alrededor de la configuración de las categorías centrales explícitas en la primera parte de la investigación. Se procede a finalizar con unas conclusiones sobre el ejercicio de entender el trabajo filosófico de Clemente y expresar así algunas consideraciones al respecto de la crítica que Foucault hace del mismo.
