Teenagers voices about their right to an comprehensive sexual educationResumen
La investigación buscó identificar las necesidades en torno a la educación sexual integral en un grupo de 35 adolescentes entre los 14 a 16 años de edad, estudiantes de grado noveno en una Institución Educativa Distrital de la ciudad de Bogotá. Se hizo uso la metodología Investigación Acción Participativa (IAP), con la que se realizaron 3 entrevistas a docentes y 4 encuentros conversacionales con las/os estudiantes. la discusión se dieron a partir de cuatro elementos: (1) análisis sobre el diseño metodológico, (2) el contexto social, escolar y familiar de los y las adolescentes; (3) preguntas y necesidades de los y las adolescentes, que se agrupan en significados socioculturales, sexualidad y afectividad en relación conmigo y con los demás y 'arriba los derechos sexuales y reproductivos, abajo el patriarcado'. Las conclusiones señalan la importancia la participación
de los y las adolescentes en el diseño de las propuestas orientadas a ellos y ellas, de modo que se parta de su experiencia y necesidades.
Abstract
Throughout this research we could recognize the needs around comprehensive sexual education in a group of 35 teenagers between 14 and 16 years old, coursing ninth grade. These students are currently studying at a public educational institution in the city of Bogotá. Through the Participatory Action Research (PAR) methodology, 3 interviews with teachers and a total of 4 conversational meetings with students were conducted. The analysis of the results and the discussion were based on four elements: (1) analysis about the methodological design, (2) the social, scholar and family context of the teenagers, (3) questions and needs of the teenagers, that are grouped in sociocultural meanings, sexuality and affectivity in relation to myself and others, and rise up sexual and reproductive rights, down patriarchy. Finally, reflections are proposed on sexual education in adolescents and the importance of consulting them for the design of proposals based on their needs..
